I met David Coleman while on one of my many trips Summer of 2005. Here's the story:

     While waiting for a connecting flight, and having just made the decision to lay off dating for awhile, I went to a hot dog stand, ordered a chili cheese dog with onions, telling the girl I didn't plan on kissing anyone in the near future... '... so plenty of onions, please.'

     Siting down at the gate, just finishing my wonderful meal, this man sits near me and asks the time. The man was David, and we had instant rapport. I learned he's the "Dating Doctor", a real live "Hitch". Now there's irony for you... mere moments after I swore off dating... I meet the "Dating Doctor" himself. The 'Powers That Be' apparently disagreed with my decision to stop dating, and let me know loud and clear.

     While boarding our flight, David's calling a friend in Ohio and tells him he found the perfect woman for him.... David told me that he, himself, had a wonderful girlfriend, Valerie. I included, above, a picture of him and Val... they do look great together.

     David & I wound up even having seat assignments next to each other and were able to continue the great conversation we were having. While his Ohio friend and I never got together, David & I became friends.

     September 2005 David was speaking at the University of Miami. I shared this with some friends, the word spread... around 20 friends showed up to hear David speak and we took him to dinner afterwards; it was a great time.
